This Christmas bundle includes 5 Readers Theater scripts and are perfect for supplementing a Christmas unit, reading practice, or just getting comfortable reading in public. Character roles range from 8 to 12 and can be condensed to 5 or 6 making these script ideal for centers, stations or small group readings.

Teaching Tips for Using these Scripts:

  • For digital classrooms, upload the DOCX Script and convert to Google docs
  • For More Students: Main character can be read by multiple students.
  • For Less Students: Minor characters can be read by just one student.
  • The lengths vary from 1000 ~ 1300 words
  • The scripts should take about ~20 minutes and depending on your classroom's level it may be suitable for other grade levels.
  • An extra ~25 minutes for prep, discussion, vocabulary or short answer comprehension questions should also be planned.
  • Each script is geared towards grades 3 to 5 version.
    • Some teachers have used these resources for Grades 6 to 8 as well
