Script Summary:

This script tells how Joseph’s father, Jacob, gave him a special coat. Joseph’s brothers grew jealous and sold him as a slave. In Egypt, Joseph stayed faithful and became trusted in Potiphar’s house, but was later thrown into prison because of false accusations. God helped Joseph interpret dreams in prison. Pharaoh heard of Joseph’s gift and asked him to explain his own troubling dreams. Joseph rose to be a leader in Egypt, storing food for a future famine. When the famine came, his brothers came to buy grain but did not recognize him. Joseph tested them, then revealed himself and forgave them. Jacob and the whole family moved to Egypt, and before Jacob died, he blessed his children. Joseph’s story shows faith, forgiveness, and how God can bring good out of hard times.
