Text Summary

Timber, Copper, and Iron opens in a late-nineteenth-century Great Lakes shipping office. Rain has damaged three ledgers and erased the labels on crates containing pine, copper-bearing rock, and iron ore. Before the evening freighter leaves, twelve investigators must rebuild each complete route and decide whether the contracts can be signed.
