This reader’s theater script for Prometheus and the Gift of Fire is based on the Hesiodic Poems and includes two differentiated versions for grade levels 6~8 and 9~12., each version is designed with age-appropriate language and Flesch-Kincaid reading scores. This story focuses on the themes of Sacrifice for the Greater Good, and Consequences.
This short script should take about 20 minutes to read depending on your classroom's level. NOTE: This script has more characters than some of the other Greek Mythology scripts thus making it less appropriate for small groups, stations or reading centers, however many of the parts have less than 5 lines and can be combined if necessary.
