Script Summary:
This play tells the story of Samson, a man chosen by God who had incredible strength. In Act 1, he marries a Philistine woman and later fights the Philistines using his great power. He also sets foxes loose in their fields and uses a donkey’s jawbone to defeat many enemies. In Act 2, Samson meets Delilah, who tricks him into revealing the secret of his strength—his uncut hair. The Philistines capture him, but in his final moment, God answers his prayer and gives him strength once more to bring down the Philistines’ temple, sacrificing himself to save Israel.
