Optional Adaptations:
This program is fully adaptable to meet your group’s schedule, setting, and age range:
- Scripts are appropriate for Grades 3–5, but can be scaled for Grade 2 or 6.
- The 4-hour daily schedule (9:00 AM–1:00 PM) can be condensed or expanded as needed.
- Facilitators may assign, split, or combine roles to suit small or large group sizes.
- All creative activities (e.g., prop-building, fractured endings) can be modified to fit available materials or spaces.
- Performance days may require pre-scheduling to invite families or reserve space—review the full plan in advance.
Teacher Support Built In:
You won’t need to design from scratch—but you will need to bring your energy. This curriculum saves you hours of prep while still depending on your facilitation:
- Review each day’s plan before teaching—it contains full instructions not shown in the slides.
- Use the Google Slide deck as a pacing and activity guide, not a script.
- Be prepared to model and encourage high-energy participation—especially in icebreakers and improv games, which may be new or intimidating for some students.
- Support students in gathering or creating props during Weeks 3–4—this is a creative process, but they’ll need your help getting started.
