Tennessee State History Bundle of 10 RT Script & Mini Readers | No Prep Lessons

Teach Tennessee State History with a complete 10-lesson Grade 5-focused Reader’s Theater and differentiated Mini Reader bundle for grades 3–5. Reconstruction and Jim Crow in Tennessee — Students examine how emancipation opened new opportunities for education, institution-building, voting, and officeholding while violence and discriminatory laws restricted those gains. The lesson connects the Freedmen’s Bureau, Fisk University, Black political participation, disfranchisement, segregation, and the growth of Jim Crow.
