Script Summary:
Act 1: The Reign of Fear: Cronus, king of the Titans, grows paranoid after a prophecy from Gaia and Uranus warns that a child will overthrow him, leading him to swallow his children Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, and Poseidon as Rhea pleads in vain. Rhea, desperate to save her sixth child, Zeus, resolves with Gaia’s help to deceive Cronus and protect her son.
Act 2: The Spark of Rebellion: Rhea tricks Cronus into swallowing a stone instead of Zeus, who grows up hidden on Crete under the care of nymphs and Amalthea the goat. Zeus, guided by Gaia and aided by Metis, brews a potion to free his siblings, setting the stage for rebellion against Cronus’s tyranny.
Act 3: The Forces Unite: Zeus forces Cronus to drink the potion, freeing his siblings, who join him in defiance, and they descend to Tartarus to liberate the Cyclopes and Hecatoncheires. The Cyclopes forge powerful weapons—thunderbolts, a trident, and a helm—while Prometheus defects from the Titans to offer Zeus strategic wisdom.
Act 4: The War of Titans and Gods: The Olympians and Titans clash in a fierce battle, with Zeus’s forces wielding their new weapons and the Hecatoncheires hurling boulders to weaken the Titans’ lines. Prometheus’s plan to target Cronus and Atlas shifts the tide, and after a ten-year siege, the Titans’ strength begins to crumble.
Act 5: Victory and a New Dawn: Zeus delivers the final blow, forcing Cronus and the Titans to surrender, and they are bound in Tartarus under the Hecatoncheires’ guard. Atlas is singled out to bear the heavens, and Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades divide the world—sky, sea, and underworld—ushering in a new Olympian era.
