Script Summary:
Scenes 1-3: Origins and Joy
Demeter escapes Cronus’s jaws, vowing “My seeds will choke your reign” (Scene 1), and joins Zeus on Olympus, sowing fields with “My bounty needs no queen’s nod” (Scene 2). Zeus and Demeter birth Persephone, who giggles “Father, your storms thrill me!” (Scene 3), sparking a joyful bond under Hera’s scorn.
Scenes 4-6: Abduction and Despair
