This Hera Readers’ Theater Script traces the queen of the gods’ ascent from Cronus’s belly to her golden throne on Olympus across 12 scenes. Watch her break free with Zeus, battle Titans, marry the sky god, and wield her wrath against Io, Hercules, and Echo, while judging Paris, aiding Jason, and clashing with Zeus. From Mount Othrys to Greece’s mortal cities, Hera’s jealousy and power shape divine and human fates, forging a legacy as fierce as her husband’s thunder.

With 20 roles—including commanding Zeus, vengeful Hera, heroic Jason, and scorned Paris—this dialogue-rich script brims with mythic tension, ideal for high school performers. Flexible casting suits any group size: blend narrators for smaller classes or rotate characters per scene to keep everyone in the divine spotlight.
