Script Summary:

Scene 1-2: Poseidon’s Birth and Imprisonment

Cronus swallows newborn Poseidon on Mount Othrys to thwart a prophecy, but Rhea hides Zeus with a stone trick, setting the stage for rebellion as Poseidon grows defiant inside the Titan.

Scene 3-4: The Titanomachy

Zeus frees Poseidon with a potion, and the sea god wields a Cyclops-forged trident to battle Titans alongside Zeus and the Hecatoncheires, binding Cronus in Tartarus after a decade-long war.

Scene 5-6: Claiming the Sea and Athens

Poseidon claims the oceans via lots on Olympus, his trident rivaling Zeus’s sky, then loses Athens to Athena’s olive tree despite offering a saltwater spring, vowing to prove his might.

Scene 7-8: Legacy and Labor

Poseidon fathers Triton with Amphitrite, securing his sea legacy, then builds Troy’s walls with Apollo, enraged when King Laomedon denies payment, promising vengeance.
