Ancient Civilizations Bundle of 7 Interactive Place-Based Learning Lessons for Grades 6 to 8

Teach a connected Ancient Civilizations sequence with seven interactive Dynamic History lessons for grades 6-8, calibrated primarily to Grade 6. This bundle moves from early humans and the Agricultural Revolution through the first Mesopotamian cities, cuneiform, Hammurabi's laws, the Nile, the Great Pyramids, and Tutankhamun's tomb.

Each lesson is built as a two-day, six-stop investigation in which students use maps, archaeological evidence, artifacts, historical sources, and short written responses to explain how historians know what they know. The complete sequence gives students repeated practice with geography, cause and effect, source analysis, historical evidence, comparison, and evidence limits.
